Deciding a change is necessary, Will returns to a small town where he gets involved in the community’s problems and much to his surprise, starts to care about the colorful local citizens and their endangered way of life. An ensemble of odd characters join Will in his misadventures as they try to resist the rising tide of corruption and corporate greed threatening to destroy the town.

Will begins to feel at home among the locals, but will they appreciate his hard work, and accept him as one of their own?

Streams of Yesterday weaves humorous and tragic events together amidst a background of economic and social upheaval in a small Kansas farm town.
